So, the T-ara girls recently performed their two hit singles, Bo Peep and Like The First Time live at some sports game (I think it’s basketball). The girls rocked! I’m glad to see Soyeon is better, although I’m sad that all these K-pop stars barely get any time to rest before they’re back out there working away. Just look at poor Younha who collapsed :/
Anyways, I love the T-ara girls, hwaiting! So happy they’re back. I can’t wait for the new song and repackaged album ^_^
Yay, promotions for Like The First Time! Awesomeness ^_^ This is one of my favourite songs from the album, in fact it might be my favourite song. Actually I think TTL/TTL Listen 2 is still my favourite. But this awesome anyway. I really liked the performance too. It’s less hyperactive energy than Bo Peep, but it shows the girls are very good at changing style and concept, something that they should be applauded for. I think they look really nice too. Although, their style reminds me of Wonder Girls’ Nobody concept. 20s~50s retro chic.
The special collaboration group, featuring the vocal talents of SeeYa, Davichi and T-ara have just performed Wonder Woman on Inkigayo. The live performance is quite amazing to watch because the girls sing so well. A lot of the time I watch the live stages for the performance (costumes, cheography, charisma etc.) but not necessarily the singing. But every member of this special group can sing amazingly well.
T-ara have achieved something that not many newly debuted groups manage to do. They’ve just achieved their third consecutive Inkigayo award! How awesome is that? Hwaiting! I’m so proud of the girls. Check out their performance below and their victory and encore. They’re always so gracious.
Despite stating that they would be commencing promotion of Like The First Time tonight, T-ara earlier performed Bo Peep again on Music Bank. Not that I think anyone is complaining; I think all the fans that voted for Like The First Time have been won over by the catchy refrain, myself included. Plus, I guess Core Contents didn’t want to stop promotions right in the middle of Bo Peep winning the girls their first set of awards. Sadly however, tonight marked any end to the success as they came in second. Still, with a the collaboration with SeeYa & Davichi and promotions of Like The First Time, I beat they’ll be winning even more awards soon!
The three groups that brought Women’s Generation to tv stations about 6 months ago are back to set the stage on fire again with a new offering. With different members of T-ara this time round, the girls have gotten together to sing Wonder Woman. The song is pretty catchy, and sounds quite similar to Women’s Generation, but also different. It’s a bit of a shame that T-ara, one of the hottest bands at the moment, don’t have such a big role in this collaboration. But I understand that SeeYa and Davichi have been around for a lot longer. Still, would have been nice to see the T-ara girls rock it up like we all know they can.
T-ara have been winning awards left, right and centre, and I’m beyond happy for them! I’m overjoyed that their hard work is finally paying off. These girls are so talented and they don’t necessarily have the slick production values of other girlbands so I’m really excited they’re finally getting the recognition they deserve! Also, they’re going to promote Like The First Time next week! I <3 Like The First Time~!
T-ara won the first Music Bank award of 2010! I think their win is rather auspicious, their first win on the first day of the first month of the first year of a new decade ^_^ I think it could possibly only be more auspicious if it was the millenium. I still can’t quite believe we were born during a millen you know? Only so many people get to see a new millenium, it’s rather crazy. Anyways. Check out the girls! They did a special performance of Bo Peep Bo Peep, a traditional one inspired by Korean folk music. They also wore hanbok inspired outfits. I love hanboks. I think they’re beautiful. I think they’re more beautiful than kimonos and qipaos and so on (although qipao is traditional compared to kimono and hanboks). I was pleasantly surprised to see their outfits, they looked quite nice I thought. I mean, they’ve obviously been made specifically for them so I wonder who their costume designer is.
Doesn’t Soyeon looks adorable? =^_^=
Plus, the girls are absolutely adorable when they won! They couldn’t stop crying! <3333333333 Don't cry! We all laff you~ Well, Boram didn't cry did she? Boram!!! But I love this! It's so genuine and clearly shows how hard they've been working! I'm so proud of them <3
Fresh from their success on Music Bank with their first award win ~HWAITING~ the girls are back with another performance of Bo Peep. I really love this song now actually <3 The production is a bit rubbish but it's catchy. And don't the girls look amazing in this performance? They're wearing the 19+ video clothes! I've never seen them wear them before, they look really good! Makes a nice change to the weird outfits they normally wear.
T-ara <3 and SeeYa and Davichi (respected noona and labelmates) performed a joint stage together doing a melody of TTL, His Voice, 8282 and Women's Generation. Was pretty awesome to see all the girls get together, there's a great sense of friendship amongst them don't you think? I have to admit though, boy can SeeYa and Davichi sing compared to T-ara. Granted, they're rookies and the other bands are known for their amazing vocals, but wow. I wish they got more air time then so people could be wowed more. I think it's easy to forget what an amazing voice sounds like when everything is over produced or focused on the dance moves.
