2NE1 were definitely the darlings of the night as they won loads of awards. I’m not the biggest fan of 2NE1 but I do like some of their songs. I just prefer the style of other bands. But, I have come to appreciate how hard the girls work and that they are really talented. I don’t care is my favourite song of theirs though and I really enjoyed this performance.

CL & Minzy – Please Don’t Go
20 NovFollowing on from Sandara and Park Bom, it’s now the turn of the youngest members of 2NE1 to release a single. They’re doing it together this time and the song has dropped! CL and Minzy give a pretty cool offering, but I definitely prefer Park Bom’s the most, and then Sandara’s. This sounds a bit like a 2NE1 b-side. But it’s still pretty cool. I’m looking forward to seeing their stage! I bet they’ll rock it.
Park Bom – You & I @ Inkigayo
16 NovPark Bom continues her promotion of her solo debut single, You & I, with a lovely performance on Inkigayo. She seems to have relaxed a lot more now and looks less terrified. Poor Park Bunny, am proud of her though ^_^

9 NovPark Bom gave a really nice performance of her first solo single, You & I on Inkigayo. I quite like it, I dunno why but she seems a little uncomfortable. Obviously it’s a big live stage and she’s only by herself but mmm. Also, I think some bits she mimes? Or at least she doesn’t sing live for the whole entire song. But still, I like this song. It sounds like a really nice Winter song.
Park Bom – You & Me PV 2
3 NovAs if one PV wasn’t enough, Park Bom has released a second version for us fans to lap up. This song is growing on me big time and I think the PV is sooo adorable! It’s really nice to see such a cute side to one of the 2NE1 girls, as I think they have this spunky concept. Check it out :) Must say, Bom looks a little more bunny like in this video. Can’t wait for her performance on Inkigayo ^_^
Park Bom – You & I PV
2 NovFollowing on from Sandara’s Kiss, Park Bom is the next 2NE1 girl to release a solo song. You & I sounds like I don’t care part 2. If that makes sense? It sounds very familiar, and pretty much recognisible as a song 2NE1 would release, but kudos to Park Bom has she holds her own. The PV is really adorable! Although I guess that’s helped by her bunny face ^_^
2NE1 – I Don’t Care @ Asia Song Contest 2009
25 SepFor those that don’t know, the Asia Song Contest is a musical extravaganza. It’s very different from the Eurovision Song Contest (in which artists representing a country compete against each other to win; it’s either really prestigious and a great honour to win, or very shameful and not really that serious). Anyways, a Korean company set up a similar kind of show, but instead of competing, artists from different Asian countries perform together to promote Asian music. It’s pretty cool, but at the same time not so cool. Obviously it’s Korean-centric because it was founded in Korea, but I would like to see some more other Asian stars. I mean, fair enough Chris Lee is huge in China, but nowhere really else. And Gackt isn’t as popular as other Japanese stars. Regardless, it’s pretty cool :) Check out 2NE1’s performance of I Don’t Care. They also won an award for best newcomer.
Sandara – Kiss (feat. CL) CF Video
12 SepSo, Sandara’s debut solo single’s CF video has been released! She’s promoting Cass beer with Lee Min Ho as her love interest in the video. It looks pretty cool. Sandara can be both very cute and like a little pokemon but also very fierce and like a baracuda. I think what happens is she’s tired of Lee Min Ho’s rogueish ways and thinks: “Well, fine! I’m going to put on my 2NE1 gladrags and take control”. I think that’s what 2NE1’s message is about – girl powah!

8 SepI never really liked 2NE1. I know their they’re the biggest rookies at the moment and have had a pretty amazing debut, but there’s something that I don’t quite like about them. I guess it’s because I like my K-pop with extra sugar, and the 2NE1 girls come with extra spice ;D Anyways, I do like their I Don’t Care song. But, Sandara is releasing a solo single called Kiss. It also features a rap from CL. My opinion..? I wouldn’t be blogging about it if I didn’t like it! It’s much less… squeaky.
