T-ara & Supernova – TTL Listen 2 @ Dream Concert

12 Oct

At arguably 2009’s biggest K-pop concert extravaganza, the opening act slot was givne to T-ara and Supernova! I’m going to refer to them as T-aranova from now. Maybe it’ll catch on, maybe it’s not even original, oh wells! Anyway, this was the live debut of TTL Listen 2 and they gave a pretty awesome performance! I hate to say it, but I think T-aranova gave one of the best, high-octane performances of the evening, complete with fireworks! Fireworks in rhythm! So much awesomeness! Can’t believe this is the same T-ara that debuted live with the rather rocky Lies. <3 them.

T-ara & Supernova – TTL @ M CountDown

12 Oct

T-aranova performed live at M CountDown and gave another awesome performance! This time perhaps even more tight! They just seem to be getting better and better!!! Can’t wait til they release their album!

Girls’ Generation – Tell Me Your Wish (Genie) @ Dream Concert

12 Oct

Well well well, the current queens of K-pop gave an awesome performance of Tell Me Your Wish at Dream Concert. Gotta say, this is probably the best performance of the night (although not my favourite, yay T-ara!). I don’t really know what else to say other than they are super polished and don’t do anything wrong. And, they have fireworks. <3!

4MINUTE – MUZIK (remix) @ Dream Concert

12 Oct

4MINUTE aren’t my favourite group by far actually. I’ve never really listened to them much before. However, MUZIK is pretty catchy and I’ve found myself humming the chorus quite often recently. Like many other artists, they debuted a remix version of their hit song at Dream Concert that was met with huge cheers by the crowd. The song is definitely a big tune! I’m starting to love it! Haha! And I guess you can really tell the differences between a rookie group, and a not so rookie group (4MINUTE vs. f(x)) with their stage presence.

Chae Yeon – Shake (Fractal Remix) @ Dream Concert

12 Oct

So, before she finishing all of her Shake promotions, Chae Yeon is releasing a remix of her hit single Shake. To start off, she performed it live at Dream Concert 2009! It’s okay… a couple of years ago I’d glomp for this kind of stuff but my music taste has changed a little and I don’t like the hard thumping beats of techno music so much. However, I think it’s great to see Chae Yeon on such a big stage still working it and looking great – especially as she’s getting on a bit in the K-pop world. Also loving the fact that she seems to have grown up a little and seems comfortable with herself. Love Chae Yeon <3 And! More fireworks! I gotta get me to a K-pop concert if they all have fireworks!

f(x) – LA chA TA @ Dream Concert

12 Oct

f(x) also performed at the Dream Concert, with LA chA TA. I’m not really sure where they’ve gone, they seemed to have a huge debut but their promotion has slowed up a little. They give a pretty cool performance, but I wasn’t blown away with it. I guess it’s a bit hard for 5 rookies to command such a huge stage. Everyone seems to love Amber though! Good for her :)

T-ara & Supernova – TTL Listen 2

12 Oct

So! My second favourite Korean girl group are back with Supernova with a revamped version of TTL! TTL Listen 2 sees all 6 members of both T-ara and Supernova join in on the project – that’s 12 peopel in total! It could have all gone wrong, I mean, I know there are 9 SNSDies, but 12 T-aranovas?! Well, I think it works! The song is a trancey, edgier version of TTL and although you can tell they are connected, I think they’re different enough to not sound too similar… if that makes sense? The MV is… biiiiiiig. Not in the sense of set pieces and the like, but whaaaaaaaa, there’s so many cuts in it… it’s very jumpy, which is a bit sad because maybe it’d’ve been nice to see the dance routine a bit more. However, the makeovers are pretty cool, reminds me of Kylie Minogue. I have to say though… T-ara gets outshined by Supernova. Granted, they’re making their comeback so maybe they’re trying extra hard but their moves seem tighter than T-ara’s. Also, am a little sad Soyeon not in it as much but I guess TTL was just all about her so that’s alright. One last thing, little kudos for little Boram who is a little more noticeable in this MV than others. I really don’t understand the point of her… But check out the MV!

T-ara & Taegoon – TTL @ Music Bank

28 Sep

^_^ Yes, that’s another T-ara post in one day… what can I say? I’m not sure if T-ara will be around this time next year so I’m going to enjoy them as much as possible whilst they still get to perform on music shows. This time, instead of Supernova joining them (or should that be T-ara joining Supernova?), they performed with Taegoon. He’s pretty cool and dances really well, although I think I prefer Supernova. Regardless, I love So-yeon’s vocals, she’s an amazing singer! I guess you can tell she was meant to be part of SNSD? Very happy she joined!

T-ara – Lies & Break Away @ Chocolate

28 Sep

Yay ^_^ I get to post a load of T-ara related videos because they’re awesome and have been working really hard lately! I guess they’re in full swing of promotional activities to promote TTL, and to promote T-ara as a bad as a whole. Check out their live of Lies at Chocolate. I think you’ll agree that they’re much more professional now and give a much cleaner performance!

As a special treat to me, I mean fans, they also performed a version of Break Away. I really love this performance! You can totally hear how well they can sing! XD I’m sorry if I seem a bit giddy, I’ve not slept at really should after work ^^;

4MINUTE – Muzik @ Inkigayo

28 Sep

I don’t really like 4MINUTE, partly because of the same reason why I don’t like 2NE1 that much, they’re just a bit a too ‘loud’ for me. They have a very hard sound if you ask me. However, I do like Muzik a bit (although some bits of the song I don’t really like) and they did just win their first Mutizen from Inkigayo! So, I will give them kudos and congratulate them :)
