STEP reminds me of Mister (one of my favourite songs ever) and has the same catchy beat and cute vocals that we love KARA for. It’s definitely clear the girls are putting a rough year behind them and focusing on the future – they are definitely back and will no doubt have a huge hit on their hands. KARA hwaiting! That’s right! The wonderful girls of T-ara have released their Japanese debut – a Japanese version of Bo Peep Bo Peep, their number 1 smash hit. It’s crazy to think that I have been a fan of these girls since before they debuted! The members were completely different and it has taken them a long time to reach their goals of success.
I’m really happy that they are now debuting in Japan. This year, a lot of girl groups have debuted in Japan: Kara, SNSD, After School. I think T-ara have every chance of success in Japan and I’m sure the Japanese public will love Bo Peep just as much as Korea and the rest of the world has ^_^
The song is a little different (it’s more computerised than the original), and different members sing different sections now (Hwayoung wasn’t a member for the initial release). But I really like the PV – it’s very cute! Who knew the girls were actually little kitties?!
Power vocal duo, Davichi made their comeback on today’s Inkigayo performing two songs from their new release, Love Delight.
Love Oh Love is a very sweet ballad that is perfect the autumn months. The cold weather is starting to come and everyone wants to feel warm and happy inside with their loved ones – this is a song to listen to when it gets dark outside.
Don’t Say Goodbye is their lead single and is another beautiful ballad – however this one has more arrangement and production than the first performance. The girls really show off the powerful vocals on this song. Arguably they have some of the strongest vocals at the moment? Congratulations to Davichi for a successful comeback! Work is super busy so unfortunately I don’t have as much time to post here as I did before but I still plan to post here frequently – hopefully with more consistency than as of lately.
My favourite band !ever! is T-ara! Today they performed Roly Poly on Inkigayo =] Roly Poly is one of my favourite songs and is now number 8 for most plays on my iPod/computer! Not bad considering some of the songs also on there are really quite old… If you are interested in the number one most listened to song… it’s Adele’s Set Fire to the Rain! One of the hottest girl bands in K-Pop at the moment, 2NE1, made a comeback on Inkigayo today! Performing two of their new songs, Ugly and Hate You they set the stage alight! It’s nice to see the girls on a stage again (after YG Entertainment focusing on global online peformances). Gives me something to blog about!
I really like these songs, for me they are a natural prgoression of the strong 2NE1 sound that the girls have really made their own! Check out the performances below:

T-ara have released a very interesting MV for their comeback mini-album. It’s over 10 minutes long and even has a cameo from Boram-unnie’s father! I love the whole concept! At first I was a little skeptical because it… sounds so strange. But now hearing the song, seeing the dance routine and seeing the full-length MV – it makes me happy!
T-ara have just released the short version of their MV to their hot new song Roly Poly. I’m addicted already! I definitely think that this will be a hit! Netizens are already saying that it will be a big hit – Triple Crown anyone?
I love the girls’ cute retro theme and the dance routine is so cool! Really gotta learn this one ^_^
